Neve Tzedek
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas in Tel Aviv, located south of the Yemenite Quarter, Neve Tzedek was the first neighbourhood built in the “new” city of Tel Aviv, back in 1887. In the last decade this area has become a stylish 'yuppie' residence with plenty of restaurants, galleries and designer shops. The architecture of Neve Tzedek is definitely one of the highlights; beautiful old houses restored to grandeur by modern architects and designers. Make sure to visit The Suzzane Dellal Center – Tel Aviv's official dance centre and home to the famous Bat-Sheva dance group. Besides offering excellent dance and theatre performances, there is a beautiful piazza and small gardens around the building.
Check for the shows available when you are in Israel on The Suzzane Dellal Center website: http://www.suzannedellal.org.il/

Tel Aviv Port
Tel Aviv Port, located in the north of the city, is a happening promenade with upscale restaurants and cafes. The original port of modern Tel Aviv was once used for commercial shipping, but has now been converted into a massive leisure area. There are also amazing nightclubs at Tel Aviv Port and other hangers are used for concerts and events. Tel Aviv Port became, in the last few years, the most attractive place for vibrant nightlife in Tel Aviv.
