NETWORK SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM
Ever had a great idea but didn't have the funds or support to make it happen? Do you feel there is no program or event in the community that appeals to you?
Then the Network Small Grants Program is your answer. Network loves to see new ideas come to fruition so we are offering funding to see these new ideas develop.
We will help fund & support you from conception to execution. Soon your little seed will become a full flourished tree.
The Small Grants Program provides funding for those activities and projects which are in accordance with one or more of the objectives of the Network which include:
• To strengthen identity and increase engagement of Jewish young adults (20 – 39 age range) through the provision of innovative social, cultural and educational events and activities.
• To provide opportunities for Jewish young adults to meet and form relationships for the sake of Jewish continuity.
• To create a positive image and perception of what it means to be Jewish for ‘fringe’ or unaffiliated Jewish young adults.
• To grow and develop young adult leaders so that they will be more effective at strengthening identity and increasing engagement of Jewish young adults throughout the community.
Suitable events/programs should:
• Be of value to the Jewish community and include have aspects of educational, religious, communal, tzedaka (charity / social action), or political activity as well as social merit.
• Preferably be different from other events/programs already running.
• Identify measurable outcomes.
• Target ‘ring’ and ‘fringe’ members of the young adult Jewish community, but not exclude ‘core’ members.
• Priority will be given to initiatives or groups that receive little or no other funding.
