Emma Davis & Band

Emma is a young songwriter who plays her guitar, sings, and drives around in her much-loved yellow Beetle. Originally from London, Emma studied music in Boston for a year after school before basing herself in Sydney's Inner West. She sings about fishermen, kombi vans, dead languages and, perhaps the occasional heart-break. Emma's band played consists of Mark Stevens (The Crooked Fiddle Band) on double bass and Nicola Ossher on drums.

Dave Gertler

Dave Gertler writes and produces his own crowd-pleasing brand of indy-pop music, and can be found performing it around Sydney, usually flanked by beautiful backing singers Suwindi Kadir and Nina Stamell, both accomplished solo artists themselves. Genres covered in a Dave Gertler set will include soul, rock, pop, funk...and everything seems laced with a subtle tinge of hip-hop. Influences include Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Hendrix, Billy Joel, the Beatles,Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Crowded House, and his sister Greta Gertler. An audience at one of Dave's gigs can expect velvety three-part harmonies, plenty of on-stage love and quirkiness, and a collection of infectious, catchy pop-tunes laced with plenty of indy-sensibility.

With a background in Latin, African and Contemporary Folk she accompanies her powerful vocals with Kora (African harp), Acoustic Guitar, and Balaphone (wooden xylophone). Noam Blat, a beautiful musician who draws from his middle-eastern background and his love for Latin and Indian traditions while adding his own flavour, resulting in a very colourful marriage of lyrics and melodies.
